Johann Daniel Berggrün was the cantor and second organist at the evangelical reformed church in Birzai/ Lithuania. By trade, he was a Master Saddle Maker ( Sattelmachermeister) like his father. He taught his skill to his son Johann Daniel jr, which made him the third generation of Saddle Makers in the Berggrün family.
